Valentine's Day Rose Bud Bracelet

Valentine's Day Rose Bud Bracelet
This is a cheap and cheerful bracelet for Valentine's day, it is also very easy to make. I plan on wearing a black dress with black tights and black pumps on my Valentine's date with my fiance so I needed some color other then my red hair. I bought this pink and glitter ribbon at a local fabric store but with a few dots of glue with your glue gun and some loose glitter your ribbon can look just like mine.
What you will need.
Ribbon.
Chain/clasp or a ready chain bracelet.
(I used two types of gold tone chain bought on etsy)
Head pins.
Few tools.
(check the link below about wire wrapping to see the tools I use)
Pearls.
(You can find the head pins and faux pearls at a local crafts store)
Glue gun.

You can see how I did the rose bud with this tutorial.
Set your rose aside.
Wire wrap your pearls on half the front of the bracelet, leave a little space on one side free of pearls to put your rose.
You can see how I do wire wrapping here in my older post here, just
With your heated glue gun add a good amount of glue to the back of the rose and press it on the chain. You can add some extra glue to the back of the rose ones on to over the other side of the chain if you feel it is needed.
You can also sew on a jump ring or two to the back of the rose if you don't feel the glue is good enough. I have done bracelets like this for others before and just the glue was fine. If I was giving it to a kid I probably would sew it on though.
Try it on and add a pew more pearls if needed or to the other side of the rose if that tickles your fancy.
Once you are happy with it you are done.

If you like ribbon jewelry check out this bracelet tutorial I did here.

Hope you enjoy!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I am going to make another soon so if you would like me to do a step by step picture tutorial just leave a comment below and I will update!

How to make a bridal inspired ribbon pearl bracelet.

I am recently engaged and have been thinking about what kind of jewelry I would like to wear on my wedding. I love pearls and ribbon so this is what I came up with for my first test drive. If I do decide to go with this looks I will do a light green (to go with our colors) and give the rest to my wedding party so we all match.
What you will need.
Ribbon, beads, jump rings, clasp, caps, fishing line or beading thread, scissors, pencil, adhesive, needle and measuring tape.

You may need to make adjustments depending on the size of beads you are using.
I used caps and added chain to my bracelets but you can just use the ribbon it you like.
1. With your pencil, mark every inch with a dot on the ribbon.
2. Thread your needle with wire.
3. Tie a knot around a jump ring with the wire.
4. Thread on the cap charm.
5. Start threading the ribbon after the cap is in place, add some adhesive to the ribbon and cap so they stick.
6. Start treading on the beads and dots on the ribbon, wrap the ribbon around the front and back of every other bead as pictured above. You can add a little adhesive on the sides of the beads
7. Place cap on the end with some adhesive.
8. Tie a knot around another jump ring.
9. Trim the wire and any extra ribbon that the cap isn't hiding.
10. Connect as many jump rings to one side and the clasp on the other until you are happy with the size of the bracelet & you are done!

Check out my "we're engaged" post to see a better picture of our ring!

Thanks for viewing, hope you enjoyed!
If your engaged too, I'd love to hear about it.
I am just starting off and I do not know where to go!

New Earrings from Very Enchanting Jewelry.

My boyfriend is let for New York today and will be gone for just over a week. I got a few goodies to make pretties and keep myself busy while he wasn't home but while he was packing I made them a few of them yesterday... I started with the bubble earrings but just went crazy and made to all the earrings I was going to make over the week!

I have a few bracelets and necklace in mind to keep me busy though. I'm also going to rearrange my bedroom and clean up my office... not looking forward to that at all.

These earrings are very very easy to make but can be harder depending on how much handmade you want them. If you want to make your flat back beads like I do with some of mine you'll need to make a mold (I do silicon) or buy a mold you like. You'll need to get resin and follow whatever steps you have for making the beads, this can take up to 48 hrs for the resin to be ready. You can also just buy some flat back beads from a craft stores or sites. You will be your flat back beads, earring post, earrings backs and jeweler's glue.
Place a little glue on the back of the bead and then place you post on the glue. Hold the post in place for a moment then set it aside to dry for however long the glue says, I always leave them alone for about 24 hours even if the glue says 10 minutes. After they are all dry they are ready to wear so add on the earrings backs and you are good to go!
Bubbles! These guys are what started it. I wanted to see how they would turn out then just kept making them. They turned out way better then what I though. The posts I used make the color pop more, I was scared that the would be very visible and take away from the bubbles.
These ones are definitely my favorite of these little button earrings.
Foiled acrylic neon diamond zebra print stud earrings.
I love the green ones so I made a pair for myself :)
Colorful flowers, I make these before and gave them out as gifts during Christmas to a few kids I know and sent an orange pair to my aunt. She loved them!
A bouquet of earrings!
Dino Earrings, these little buddies were once buttons and now are too cute and ready to be worn by and dinosaur lover!
T-Rex yeah! I'm on the look out for some raptors to go with these guys because raptors are the best!

Thanks for stopping by, feel free to shop by my etsy shop to see more of my goodies and more pictures of what I have posted here!
